1000m left hand bank. A long term favourite with the scheme’s devotees. Salmon, sea trout, trout and grayling. This water produced 29 salmon in 4 weeks in 1994 and the big corner pool is one of the best holding pools on the river. Stiff access down a steep hill.
This is a great beat to fish after a summer spate for salmon and peal. Anglers had another good season in ’07 with over 4 fish/rod and brown trout to 1lb, sea trout to 15” and grayling to 1.5lbs.
