1250m of single right hand bank. A superb section of the River Camel with 6 named pools all easily accessible. Excellent salmon and sea trout fishing from May onwards given adequate water. Peal from July onwards, the beat lending itself to night fly fishing. Good dry fly for trout in May and June. This is an easy beat to fish, trimmed and fenced appropriately with stiles and best suited to a fly rod around 9ft. One of the scheme’s best bets for night sea trouting, it fished well in 2007 and anglers reported good numbers of fish to 3lbs.
