Description:
A superb section of the River Camel with 6 named pools, all easily accessible. Excellent salmon and sea trout fishing from May onwards given adequate water. Peal from July onwards, the beat lending itself to night fly fishing. Good dry fly for trout in May and June. This is an easy beat to fish, trimmed and fenced appropriately with stiles and best suited to a fly rod around 9ft. One of the scheme’s best bets for night sea trouting. 2008 catches included grilse to 5lb, sea trout to ¾ lb and plenty of brownies to 13”.

Restrictions:
From 1st May, Fly and Spinner only. From 16th June, fly, spinner and worm. No more than 1 salmon, 2 sea trout or 2 trout to be retained per day. Salmon fishing from Sept 1st to December 15th available in conjunction with holiday accommodation at Tresarret Manor by prior booking (Tel: 01208 850338).
