Great fishing in an Elizabethan estate surrounding. Sea trout from late June, good chance of a salmon given adequate water from mid May, trout and grayling (best last season was 2lbs but they can go to over 3lb). There are five good pools and several nice runs in this stretch and the two pools closest to Marystow Br. are a good bet for sea trout fishing at night. Anglers reported plenty of good sport last season with salmon to 8lb, brown trout to 12” and sea trout to 2.5lbs. Please check the map as the beat has changed this season.
