Description:
As per Berrio Mill (beat 25) but this beat is set several miles downstream and is a somewhat bigger river, 2 miles from the tide. Good water for sea trout and salmon (16 pounder taken in 2007!) and moderately good for brown trout. The reach below the bridge has three good holding pools and is easy to fish. Upstream of the bridge is a bit more tricky but there are several pools, numerous holding lies under tree roots and undercut banks together with pocket water. Anglers reported some good peal on both fly and spinner last summer.

Restrictions:
No dogs. Fly, spinner and worm. No more than 1 salmon, 2 sea trout or 2 trout to be retained per day.
