Description:
The Waldon provides good small stream brown trout fishing and this section meanders through a wetland floodplain, and has hardly been fished over the past 10 years. The beat contains lots of deep pools and runs and is quite challenging fishing although it encapsulates the ‘wild fishing in wild places’ ethos of the scheme. Best fished using chest waders and with 3-5wt, 7-8ft rods. Although quite heavily bushed in places, access improvements are being undertaken during 2009.

Restrictions:
No Dogs. Fly only. No more than 2 trout to be retained per day
