1700m of mixed single and double bank. A lovely trout beat with good stocks of larger fish to 16” or so. Has an excellent mayfly hatch in early June. Fairly heavily shaded in places so fishing from within the river and casting under the trees is essential to cover this beat effectively. Can be prone to discolouration following rainfall but generally fished well in 2007 with 4 fish/visit and trout to 13”.
