26) Heale Bridge
(3 Tokens) (Trout 16 March – 30 September, Salmon 1 March – 14 October, Grayling 16 June – 31 October)

1300 metres single left hand bank. As per Beat 25, good brownies and grayling with occasional sea trout and salmon. Prone to low flows and coloured water. The beat consists of long stickles and some good pools but is rather narrow at the bottom end where it enters the Tamar. Quite heavily bushed in some sections. Good dry fly water and best fished with shorter rods (7-8ft, 3-5wt). Although it was lightly fished last year it produced a number of nice brown trout to 13” and grayling to around the 1lb mark.
