13) Deer Bridge
(3 tokens) (15 March – 30 September)

1600m single left hand bank Deer and Tamar, and 400m single right hand bank Claw. A lovely open reach of the Tamar set in one of the widest floodplain sections of the valley. Here you can fish three rivers; Deer, Tamar and Claw, meanders with riffles, pools and runs holding a good head of brownies to over a pound with occasional grayling. Although lightly fished last season, it provided 3 fish/rod with trout to 1lb (including several larger ones lost) and grayling to 13”. Try using a longer rod with weighted nymph’s fished singly or New Zealand style through deeper runs.
