1100m of single bank. Sea trout, trout, mullet and chance of a salmon on a summer spate. The sea trout run can be good and EA electrofishing in this stretch in 2001 produced 40 fish to 5lb in 100m! Sea trout fishing starts from May and it’s definitely worth a try following a spate in July/Aug (especially if coinciding with spring tides). This is a lovely but very small stream and probably best suited to worm and spinner for the larger sea trout but a 7ft 3 or 4wt will do fine for the trout and school peal. Although lightly fished last season, the beat produced 4 fish/rod and one angler had four peal to 16” in a morning session. The beat has been trimmed out last winter.
