(2 tokens) LAA Beat (Trout 15 March to 30 September, Grayling 16 June to 31 October)

1500m of left hand single bank. An open and easy stretch of the middle Tamar to fish, which was trimmed out in 2006. Bedrock dominates the middle of the beat with gravelly pools and runs above and below. Trout fishing with some large fish to 16”+ (previous best was over 3lb!). Good mayfly hatch but prone to low flows and coloured water following spates. Anglers’ returns showed a good season in ’07 with trout to 11” and grayling to 1lb+.
