Description:
Large spring sea trout, spring salmon and late summer grilse. Trout fishing is good in May and June with peal from July. The Lynher is characterised by predominantly riffle/run sections and pocket water with occasional deep pools, however this compact section has 5 good holding pools! Fenced and cut out in 2004 this beat has the possibility of producing some very good sea trout and salmon given adequate water when fished with worm/lure. If you have a 9’ or 10’ fly rod, try working a worm or two through the pools, runs and along the undercut banks (locals get some brilliant results with these tactics). 3.4 fish/visit last season.

Restrictions:
No dogs. Fly, spinner and worm. No more than 1 salmon, 2 sea trout or 2 trout to be retained per day. Holiday accommodation available at Berrio Mill (see advert overleaf).
